Machine Shop Work Shifts:
Day: Monday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Evening: Monday – Thursday 4:15 p.m. – 2:45 a.m.
Weekend: Fri., Sat., Sunday 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (paid for 40 hours)
Fabrication Shop Work Shifts:
Day: Monday – Friday 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Evening: Monday – Thursday 3:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.
Weekend: Fri., Sat., Sun. 6:00 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. (paid for 40 hours)
Salary commensurate with qualifications.

SCREENING QUESTIONS
1. Do you have five years experience in a machine shop where custom parts are manufactured? Answer no if your work experience is an OEM and/or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
2. Do you have two years programming experience utilizing Solidworks and Mastercam X4 to create 2D and 3D tool paths for 5-axis mills?
3. Do you have two years experience programming close-tolerance and complex aerospace and/or oil field parts?
4. Do you have an Associate’s Degree or 60 college hours?
Primary Responsibility: Create CNC programs/toolpaths for a wide variety of products
Job Details:
• Use Solidworks and Mastercam X4 to create CNC toolpaths for 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis vertical/horizontal mills for Mazak and DMG (Siemens) controllers.
• Many projects involve complicated oilfield and aerospace parts, including 5-axis contours and profiles.
• Many projects feature very tight geometric positional and profile tolerances.
• Hard metals such as nickel alloys and high-chrome stainless are commonplace.
• Assist CNC Machine Operators with program troubleshooting and feed/speed optimization.
• Design workholding and inspection fixtures as required to optimize manufacturing processes.
• Create detailed Job Order work instructions and assist at machine with first part run-off.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associates Degree or at least 60 college credit hours in a related field, plus five years in a CNC machining environment, two of which as a programmer. One year of on-the-job experience may be substituted for 20 credit hours, up to a maximum of two years.

• Regulate cutting depth, speed, feed or coolant flow
• Perform set-up and first piece inspections,
• Mount, install, align and secure tools, attachments, fixtures and work pieces using hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Maintain equipment
• Record set-up and run time data
Available positions:
a.m. shift: Monday – Thursday 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
p.m. shift: Monday – Thursday 4:15p.m. – 2:45 a.m.
weekend shift: Fri, Sat. Sun 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (paid for 40 hours)
Minimum Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 years experience as a CNC machinist. One year of experience may substitute for one year of education up to a maximum substitution of 4 years.

We are recruiting for a 2nd shift machinist to work on our 5-axis DMG manufacturing small lot production and prototype parts for our aerospace markets.
Candidates should be able to:
